Pittsburg Rotary demonstrated its continued commitment to the Scholars of Pittsburg Unified School District through a generous $27,000 donation to support a literacy program at Highlands Elementary School . This investment provides Highlands with additional resources to strengthen literacy development and create meaningful opportunities for Scholars to build their reading and language skills. Literacy is a key priority for PUSD, and Highlands has an established focus on academic achievement and creating opportunities for every Scholar to succeed.
