Project Fairs

What are Rotary’s Project Fairs?

Rotary’s Project Fairs are events that connect clubs seeking international service projects with clubs interested in collaborating with global partners. These annual regional events are held by Rotary districts to encourage international fellowship and collaborations in World Community Service efforts. Host district clubs display their projects, and visitors from other countries identify those that best fit their club’s goals. The participants discuss their interests, concerns, and ideas about the projects. Project Fairs typically last two to three days and may include visits to service projects or opportunities to experience the local culture. Any club representative or Rotary member who is interested in supporting an international service project can attend a project fair.

Invitation for Clubs and Members to Attend

The West Africa Project Fair (WAFP) is an invaluable platform for networking, sharing project ideas, and securing the necessary support to bring your community service projects to life, enhancing our members experience and telling our story as people of action. The 2024 WAPF is scheduled to come off from October 29 to November 5, 2024 in Accra, Ghana. It is the first hybrid edition of the fair that will offer participants and visitors the opportunity to join both virtually and in-person. Expert Guidance: Participating clubs’ benefit from the expertise of experienced Rotarians and project managers. Learn about the application process for District and Global Grants and receive valuable tips on how to make your proposals stand out, marketable and best project planning and management tips.

Hybrid Format: This is the first hybrid WAPF offering Rotarians and clubs the opportunity to participate both in person and online. The hybrid format ensures that everyone has the opportunity to participate both in person and online.
