One of the many Rotary clubs in District 5160 making a difference in their community is the Rotary Club of Paradise.

For several years, the club has been working on many fronts to help rebuild the city after the devastating Camp Fire. Today, their focus also includes connecting students, educators, and local businesses to restore the economic vitality of the community.

A highlight of this effort is their annual Career Expo, coming up on Friday, November 14th, where more than 1,000 youth from the Paradise area will see firsthand the career opportunities available right in their own community. The Rotary Club of Paradise is not only rebuilding a city, they are rebuilding a workforce—while giving young people the hope of meaningful employment in Paradise.

To deepen this impact, the club applied for and received a District 5160 grant to support career readiness training, helping students prepare for their career paths. District Governor Elect Woody Fridae presented the matching funds check to the Co-Presidents and student representatives at Paradise High School.
