To provide financial assistance to the Fairfield Police Activity League (PAL) to enable the organization to relocate to, and establish itself in, a new location. The highest priority for grant funds is to purchase and install a security system which will allow for 24-hour, 7-days a week monitoring of the facility, its improvements and equipment. The security system will be directly linked to the Fairfield Police Department Dispatch Center, which will facilitate immediate response to any emergency or situation. In addition to the security system, grant funds are being sought to purchase a new restaurant quality refrigerator, freezer, and ovens that will allow PAL to again offer children hot meals.
