The Main Campus of the Gold Nugget Museum in Paradise, Ca was completely destroyed during the 2018 Camp Fire. The Museum which was operated solely by volunteers was instrumental in providing the historical record of Paradise, Magalia and Butte Counties rich mining, timber and farming heritage. The Museum held numerous educational programs for the local schools and was a center for fellowship and civic pride. The loss of the Main Campus of the Museum is a significant loss to our community which is striving to rebuild in the aftermath of the devastating fire. The Museum leadership purchased a large tract of land on Pearson Road as their new main campus but need funds to build out the administrative portion of the museum. A first step in restoring the Museum as a rich historical resource for Paradise and the Paradise Ridge.
