Azusa

1. My name is Azusa. I am from Tokyo, Japan, District 2750. My host club is District 5160 Chico Sunrise Rotary Club, they accept me very kindly. I like to attend a meeting every week.
Now I go to Chico Senoir high school. It is very differ from mine in Japan. We wear school uniform, and there are only girls. My school rules are very strict… So I am having fun to choose clothes, to go off campus at lunch time, and exciting sports game. One of the most supurising things is a textbook. they are very heavy, and not own. To carry them every day is little hard.
My host family are very kind and diligent. Host sister is learning Japanese, so we can teach each other.

2. First impression of U.S. is big. Everything is too big for me, but it is interesting. What I would like to do here
are to make hundreds of friends, to experience whatever I can do only here, and to introduce Japanese culture. I need make much effort to accomplish all of them!

3.After graduation from high school, I will go to univercity. Actually, I do not decide yet, but I wolud like to use my experience in the U.S..
I think this Rotary Youth Exchange program is very helpful for our future. That is because I can know about such many countries, learn importance of thanks, effort, and people around me, after I became an exchange student. Through Rotary clubs, I am interested in volunteer work for world peace. And I am very proud of being a Rotary Exchange student!
