Proposed Time Line 2011-2012 District Grants:

November 2010 Review and revise District Grant Application for 2011, work with Vic Georgiou to allow application to be filled out and submitted online through district website

November & December 2010 Foundation Reps notify Presidents and President-Elects about District and Global Grant timelines for 2011, so they can begin planning. Time line posted on the District website.

Jan 2011 Discussions on use of DDF and Foundation priorities for 2011-2012: DG, DGE, DRFC, DSCGC, DGC, DGGC, AG, and FR;

Mar 2011 PRE-PETS Training PE”s, FR’s & AG’s (Future Vision Grants Management Training)

March 31, 2011 2011 Club MOU to be submitted

May 1, 2011 District Grant proposal grant applications due date. Proposals submitted to: DGC

May 15, 2011 DGC and his committee review applications rank and submit to approving committee

June 2011 District Approval Committee (DG, DGE, DRFC, DSCGC) meets to review proposals, approve, and request block funds from TRF

June 2011 District Mandatory Grants Management Training for Club Foundation Chairs, other interested Rotarians

June 1, 2011 Audit Committee random compliance review (MOU requirements) of selected clubs

June 15, 2011 Final report for 2010-2011 District Grants submitted

Aug 2011 Subject to final approval District Grants sent to sponsor Club

Aug 30, 2011 Complete audit by Audit Committee

Sep 15, 2011 Report to DRFC and DG of audit assessment

Sep 30, 2011 Report of Audit to all participating clubs

Additional information:

1.) Grant applications be available on the District website January 2011

2.) All submitting clubs MUST be qualified. (Criteria listed on District Website)

3.) DG and DGE encouraged to involve the AG’s and FR’s

4.) Applications should be submitted in both electronic form and paper copy

5.) Global Grant applications submission should include a copy to District Global Grant Chair.
